Stella Homewood is a sparkling jazz singer based near Brighton who performs vintage standards either as an intimate duo or a grander band. Her new album, ‘Dreams & Lullabies’, is an exquisite collection of warmly delivered classics including ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’, ‘April in Paris’ and ‘Moon River’. Combining Stella’s fluid, sophisticated voice with the nimble acoustic guitar work of Paul Richards, the old favourites have rarely sounded more soothing.
Stella loves to sing the swinging jazz numbers too, and can be booked here for clubs, bars, weddings, private events, vintage fairs and Lindy Hop dances.
“Stella’s voice reminds me of a singer from the old 1930s movies. She has a voice to charm the birds out of the trees! Simply marvellous!"
